Greenology

How we take plastic recycling to a new level

The world needs to change and we need to change with it, and in order to achieve the UN's sustainability goal in 2030, everyone must contribute. Through innovation, efficiency, sustainability and closed recycling loops, Greenology® Concept is a step in the right direction for improved sustainability work and a reduced climate footprint, both long-term and short-term. A lower climate footprint and a greener society begin during the product development. For almost a decade, Axjo has worked with the development of sustainable materials from recycled raw materials and smart production solutions that constantly drive sustainability development forward. Why should a plastic tray be made from new raw material when recycled material can achieve the same high quality?

Sustainability throughout the process

Through Greenology® Concept, we at PPS can be part of the customer's circular system and assist the customer to be sustainable all the way. It is about contributing to a reduced carbon footprint by changing and influencing the logistics chain and going from a linear process to a closed loop. At the same time, we make it easier for our customers by being part of their circular process. By taking advantage of materials that have consumed their life cycle and that would normally have gone to landfill and incineration, you can create new advantageous materials with improved properties and take care of the environment at the same time! Greenology Concept

Our compound is the material of the future and its properties generate great opportunities for a sustainable process. Instead of manufacturing products with new raw materials, efficient recycling and the use of recycled materials as a replacement for new raw materials can significantly reduce the carbon footprint during manufacturing. Greenology® compounds consists of 100% recycled material and is produced from raw materials from Post Consumer Recycling (PCR) and Post Industrial Recycling (PIR). The material is mixed according to self-developed formulas based on the products' properties and areas of use. This means that the products can be used again and again in a circular, closed loop that contributes to smart consumption and a sustainable future.
